1. What Eos Is

Eos is a medication reminder and tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch, developed by Orochi Systems. It helps you record doses, notes and readings, and prepare updates for family. It is free, has no in-app purchases, and needs no account. Records stay on your devices unless you choose to share them or include them in device backups.

2. Contact Support

Email eos@orochisystems.com. The fastest way is from inside the App: open the Family tab, tap the gear, then Advanced, then Share diagnostics. That makes one text file with the App version, your device, your settings and the recent technical log, and no medication names, contacts or recordings, which you can attach to your message. We can help with reminders, marking doses, the voice records, the Apple Watch app, the widgets, Siri, the report for your doctor, blood pressure and blood sugar, the Health app connection, the caregiver lock, and privacy questions.

3. In an Emergency

Eos does not automatically alert family or emergency services. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number directly. The Help screen provides call buttons for your selected contacts and the emergency number associated with your region. Check that number when travelling.

4. What to Include in a Bug Report

Please tell us: - The Eos version, shown under the gear in the Family tab, in About and privacy. - Your device, for example iPhone 15 or iPhone SE, and whether an Apple Watch is paired. - Your iOS version. - Which screen is involved, and the in-app language, text size and appearance you are using. - What you expected to happen and what happened instead, step by step if you can. - For a reminder that did not arrive: the dose time, whether the phone was on silent, in a Focus or in Sleep, and whether the Today screen is showing a warning card. Screenshots help. Redact anything you would rather not share first.

5. A Reminder Did Not Arrive

Work through these in order. - Open Eos. If the Today screen shows a red or orange card about reminders, it names the exact problem and has a button to the right place in iOS Settings. - In iOS Settings, Notifications, Eos: allow notifications, allow sounds, turn on Time Sensitive Notifications, and make sure Eos is not in your scheduled notification summary. - If the phone is on silent, reminders are silent too. Eos cannot sound through the silent switch. - Check the medication's times and schedule under My Medication, including "certain days" and "every N days" and the start day. - Open Eos at least once in a while. Eos plans reminders within the notification capacity available, but a schedule such as "every 3 days" cannot repeat by itself forever; when the plan is running out, Eos sends a notification asking you to open it. - A dose you marked already, including from the widget, the Watch or Siri, does not remind you again.

6. Marking a Dose

The big I TOOK IT button marks the dose that is due: within a quarter of an hour before its time, or overdue by less than 90 minutes. A dose further ahead is shown as "Coming up" with no big button, so a stray tap cannot mark it and silence its reminder; "I already took it" is there if you really did take it early, and it asks first. A dose whose time has passed can be marked at any time from today's list, from My History, or from the medication's own card. A dose marked by mistake can be put back: the toast offers UNDO, and stays visible while supported assistive technologies are active, and tapping a marked dose again offers to put it back to waiting. Siri, the widget and the Watch follow the same rule, and mark only a dose that is due. If several medications are due at the same time, Siri marks them all and names them.

7. Voice Records

A voice record takes three steps: speak, confirm what was heard, then check the form. If a record is about a medication, the check step says exactly which dose will be marked before you save, and the Saved screen lets you undo that mark. Deleting the record later also offers to put the dose back to waiting. Eos only fills in "I took my medication" or "I didn't take it" for a clear, plain statement. A question, a doubt ("I don't remember if I took it"), "not yet", someone else's dose or yesterday's leaves the choice to you on purpose. You can always tap the right one yourself. Speech recognition runs on the device when available. If nothing was understood, you can keep the recording and type the text instead. Eos shows an error if the audio could not be saved. "Write it down instead" on the Today screen skips the microphone entirely.

8. Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar

ENTER A READING appears on Today for people who measure. If you do not see it, open the gear in the Family tab, then Blood pressure and sugar, and switch on "Show ENTER A READING on Today". If your monitor or meter saves to the Apple Health app, switch on "Read from the Health app" in the same place and new readings appear by themselves. Only readings recorded after you switch it on are brought in. Eos never writes to Health. Limits come from you, your family or your doctor; Eos has none of its own and never says whether a number is good or bad. A reading outside the limits you set is marked as such, with the limits quoted.

9. The Report for Your Doctor

My History, Report for the doctor makes the last 30 or 90 days as text or as an A4 PDF, with a day-by-day grid, a table per medication, charts of your readings, and a printable diary. Before sharing, three chips choose what goes in: medication, notes and readings. Past days are judged by the schedule that was in force on that day, so changing a time or pausing a medication today does not rewrite last month. A medication you delete keeps the doses it recorded, so the report stays honest; it simply leaves the list.

10. The Caregiver Lock

An optional 4-digit code, under the gear in the Family tab, keeps medication, family and settings from being changed by accident. It never covers I TOOK IT, RECORD or ASK FOR HELP. If the code is forgotten, tap "Forgot the code" on the keypad and confirm: Eos starts a 24-hour waiting period. When that period has ended, open Eos to complete the reset. A notification is scheduled if notifications are allowed. Anyone who still knows the code can cancel that from Settings in the meantime. Nothing is deleted and you do not have to reinstall.

11. Sharing and device storage

Help requests, records, readings and daily summaries are shared only when you choose to send them through Messages or another app. The Messages composer prepares text for you to review before sending. Its completion status is not proof of delivery. Check delivery yourself and call if needed. Your paired Apple Watch receives medication and recent dose data automatically. Device backups can also contain Eos data. Eos has no developer server or account, so support cannot access or restore your in-app records. See the Privacy Policy for details.

12. Quick Checks

- You are on the latest version of Eos, shown in About and privacy. - Your iPhone is on iOS 18 or later, and your Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later. - For the Watch: it is paired, Eos is installed on it, and you have opened Eos on the iPhone at least once since. The Watch card says so when it has not heard from the phone for a long time. - For Siri: try "Hey Siri, I took my medication in Eos". Shortcut phrases are included in English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese. Siri follows its own language setting, which may differ from the in-app language. - For the widget: a dose marked in the widget reaches the Watch the next time the iPhone app runs.

13. If Eos Cannot Read Your Information

If the saved file cannot be understood, for example after Eos was updated on one device and not another, Eos does not overwrite it. It shows a screen saying your information is still there, offers to hand you the file so you can keep a copy, and asks before starting over. Update Eos first and tap Try again. If the file is still unreadable, keep a copy and contact support. Please tell us if this happens, with the App version, device and iOS version.

14. Privacy and Safety Note

Do not send passwords or Apple Account credentials. If you share screenshots, a report PDF or a diagnostics file, remember they contain your own records: a report holds medication names, doses and readings. Eos is not a medical device, gives no medical advice, and adds no limits or judgements of its own. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions, including about a dose you have missed.

15. Language

Eos is available in English, Español, Deutsch, Français and 日本語. The language is chosen inside the App, at first run and under the gear in the Family tab, so it does not depend on the phone's language. The system permission prompts come from iOS and appear in the phone's language.
