1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Saga ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you download Saga from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom license is provided. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Nature
Saga is a personal media library and journal. It helps you search for media metadata, save entries, track status, add ratings and journal notes, view stats, and use companion Apple-device surfaces. Feature availability can vary by device, OS version, region, configuration, and subscription state.
3. User Content and Attachments
You are responsible for the library entries, journal text, tags, ratings, screenshots, photos, and other attachments you add to Saga. Do not store unlawful, harmful, infringing, or sensitive content that you are not authorized to keep.
4. Metadata and Third-Party Services
Saga may use third-party metadata services such as IGDB, AniList, and TMDb to search for titles, artwork, summaries, creators, platforms, genres, and other media details. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, policies, content ratings, mature-content handling, or changes.
5. Catalog Content and Age Suitability
Saga displays media metadata about games, anime, manga, movies, and TV. Search results and saved metadata may describe mature, violent, sexual, or otherwise sensitive works depending on the source catalog and the titles you search for or add. You are responsible for deciding what content is appropriate for your use or household.
6. Device, Network, and Permission Requirements
Some Saga features require supported Apple hardware, current OS versions, iCloud availability, app-group storage, widget support, watch pairing, network access for metadata search, microphone and speech recognition permission for dictation, photo-library permission for attachments, or biometric/passcode support for app lock.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
Saga may offer monthly, annual, or lifetime premium access. Purchases, free trials, billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple before the renewal deadline shown in your App Store account. Pricing and availability may change over time and by region.
8. Free vs Premium Access
Saga may limit certain features for non-subscribed users, such as library size or premium functionality, and unlock additional features for active subscribers or lifetime purchasers. Exact feature gating may change with app updates.
9. iCloud Sync, Deletion, and Backups
Saga sync depends on Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and the Apple account configured on your devices. Sync timing, availability, and conflict behavior can be affected by Apple services, network conditions, and device settings. Edits and deletions may propagate to other devices using the same iCloud data. You are responsible for keeping separate backups of information you consider important.
10. Export and Deletion
Saga may provide export tools for library and journal data. Current exports are designed for structured text data and may exclude photo attachments. You can delete entries in-app and stop using Saga by deleting the app and canceling any active subscription through Apple settings.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Saga, interfere with app operation, attempt unauthorized access, abuse purchase systems, scrape or overload metadata providers through the app, or use the app for unlawful activity.
12. Intellectual Property
Saga, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by Orochi Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party media artwork, summaries, names, and metadata remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Saga is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted sync, uninterrupted third-party service availability, error-free media metadata, or permanent availability of any catalog provider.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orochi Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Saga.
15. Termination
We may suspend or discontinue features if these Terms are violated or if service components are discontinued. You may stop using Saga at any time by deleting the app and canceling active subscriptions through Apple settings.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
