1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Quartz ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Nature
Quartz is a focus-tracking and productivity support app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Quartz may present live focus scoring, session summaries, trends, reminders, and related features. Feature availability can vary by device, OS version, region, configuration, and subscription state.
3. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer
Quartz is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, or medical advice. Do not rely on Quartz for medical decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and have access to compatible Apple hardware/software to use Quartz.
5. Device and Feature Requirements
Some Quartz features require a paired Apple Watch, supported iOS/watchOS versions, and granted Apple permissions (including HealthKit). Feature availability may vary by device, region, and platform limitations.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Quartz may offer paid plans (for example, Quartz Pro). Purchases, free trials, billing, and renewals are handled through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Pricing and availability may change over time and by region.
7. Free vs Paid Access
Quartz may limit certain features for non-subscribed users and unlock additional features for active subscribers. Exact feature gating may change with app updates and remote configuration.
8. Permissions and User Controls
You are responsible for managing device permissions and settings (such as Health access, notifications, and watch pairing). Denied or revoked permissions may reduce app functionality.
9. Data Export and Deletion
Quartz may provide local export tools (such as CSV export) and session deletion controls. You can stop using Quartz at any time by uninstalling the app and, if needed, canceling subscriptions in Apple settings.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use Quartz for unlawful activity, interfere with app operation, attempt unauthorized access, abuse payment/subscription systems, or misuse automated workflows tied to the app.
11. Third-Party Dependencies
Quartz depends on third-party platforms and frameworks including Apple services (such as HealthKit, WatchConnectivity, and App Store billing) and may use RevenueCat/StoreKit for subscription infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or service failures.
12. Intellectual Property
Quartz, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by Orochi Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Quartz is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted third-party service availability, or error-free performance.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orochi Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Quartz.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if service components are discontinued. You may stop using Quartz at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling active subscriptions through Apple settings.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
