1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Kaisei ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you download Kaisei from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom license is provided. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Nature
Kaisei is a recovery and readiness app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It reads health data recorded by your devices and produces a daily recovery score, a push / hold / rest verdict, an exertion target, a sleep read, a view of your vitals, and — with Kaisei Pro — trends, tags, self-experiments, a fuller coach, and training-load analytics. Feature availability can vary by device, OS version, region, configuration, subscription state, and the health data available.
3. Not a Medical Device — Wellness Disclaimer
Kaisei is a wellness and fitness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and is not intended for emergency monitoring or crisis use. Recovery scores, verdicts, sleep reads, and vitals are provided for personal awareness only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, before making significant changes to your training, and if any signal concerns you. Never disregard professional advice because of something Kaisei shows you.
4. Health Data and Permissions
Kaisei relies on the health data your Apple Watch and iPhone record and on the Apple Health (HealthKit) permissions you grant. Scores depend on the availability, accuracy, and completeness of that data. When data is thin — for example in your first days of use — Kaisei intentionally reports a calibrating, near-neutral score rather than a confident extreme. You can review or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app, which may limit or disable parts of the App.
5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
Kaisei offers a free tier — today's recovery score and verdict, sleep, vitals, and every widget and complication — free of charge. Kaisei Pro unlocks trends and history, tags and self-experiments (what moves your recovery), the full coach, and training-load analytics. Pro is offered as an annual plan ($29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial), a monthly plan ($4.99/month), or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($79.99). Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and no refunds are provided for partial periods; the Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable unlock and is not a subscription.
6. Device and Feature Requirements
Some Kaisei features require supported Apple hardware, an Apple Watch worn overnight, current OS versions, Apple Health access, background app refresh, notifications, widget or complication support, Siri and Shortcuts, or iCloud availability. Feature availability can change as Apple platforms change.
7. Overnight Refresh and Notifications
Kaisei may use background app refresh and HealthKit background delivery to compute your score before you wake, and may schedule local notifications such as "your recovery is ready." Delivery timing depends on Apple background and notification services, device settings, Focus modes, battery state, permissions, and OS behavior. Kaisei is not responsible for missed, delayed, or suppressed background updates or notifications.
8. Privacy and On-Device Processing
Kaisei processes your health data on your device and does not upload it to an Orochi Systems server. Optional backup of durable state (such as your streak and tags) uses your own private iCloud. Your use of Kaisei is also governed by the Kaisei Privacy Policy.
9. User Content and Records
You are responsible for the tags, notes, self-experiments, exports, and other information you create in Kaisei. Do not use the App to store unlawful content or content you are not authorized to keep. You retain ownership of the records you create.
10. Data Export, Deletion, and Backups
Kaisei provides tools to export your data as a single readable file and to erase every record it has created. You are responsible for keeping separate backups of information you consider important and for protecting exported files after they leave the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Kaisei, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent purchase or entitlement checks, abuse system integrations, or use the App for unlawful activity.
12. Third-Party Platforms
Kaisei depends on Apple platforms and services including HealthKit, StoreKit, iCloud, WidgetKit, App Intents, Shortcuts, notifications, background delivery, and App Store distribution. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or service failures.
13. Intellectual Property
Kaisei, including its software, scoring methods, design, the squared 回 identity, branding, and related materials, is owned by Orochi Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the App, or use our trademarks, without written consent.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
Kaisei is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted background refresh or sync, error-free scoring, the accuracy or completeness of any score or insight, or achievement of any training, recovery, or wellness outcome.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orochi Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions you make in reliance on the App's scores or verdicts, arising from your use of Kaisei. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.
16. Termination
We may suspend or discontinue features if these Terms are violated or if service components are discontinued. You may stop using Kaisei at any time by deleting the App; deleting the App does not by itself cancel an active subscription, which you manage through your App Store account.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
