1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Kaisei ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you download Kaisei from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom license is provided. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Nature
Kaisei is a recovery and readiness app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It reads health data recorded by your devices and produces a daily recovery score, a push, hold or rest verdict, an exertion target, a sleep read, a stress read, and a view of your vitals. Kaisei Pro adds the layers that read meaning out of your accumulated record, as described in section 5. Feature availability can vary by device, OS version, region, language, configuration, subscription state, and the health data available.
3. Not a Medical Device and Wellness Disclaimer
Kaisei is a wellness and fitness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and is not intended for emergency monitoring or crisis use. Recovery scores, verdicts, sleep reads, stress reads, vitals, journal readings, experiments, coach answers, and the weekly letter are provided for personal awareness only. Journal readings and experiments describe how your own logged behaviours line up with your own mornings. They are observations, not proof of cause, and not clinical validation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, before making significant changes to your training, and if any signal concerns you. Never disregard professional advice because of something Kaisei shows you.
4. Health Data and Permissions
Kaisei relies on the health data your Apple Watch and iPhone record and on the Apple Health (HealthKit) permissions you grant. Scores depend on the availability, accuracy, and completeness of that data. When data is thin, for example in your first days of use, Kaisei intentionally reports a calibrating, near neutral score rather than a confident extreme. When there is no overnight data, for example after a night without your watch, Kaisei does not invent a score for that morning. It may show yesterday's score and your usual range as labelled context. You can review or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app, which may limit or disable parts of the App.
5. Free Tier, Kaisei Pro, and Billing
What is free. Kaisei's daily loop is free of charge. This includes today's recovery score and verdict, the explanation of why you received that score, sleep, vitals, stress, workouts, every widget and complication, the share card, your streak and milestones, the worlds you earn through milestones, journal logging with backfill, the most recent seven days on every trend and comparison card, and your first weekly letter. What Kaisei Pro adds. Kaisei Pro unlocks the Trends tab, every history window longer than seven days across the App, finished journal readings and experiments, the coach, training comparisons beyond seven days, the weekly letter after your first one, and six additional appearance worlds. Plans and prices. Kaisei Pro is offered as an annual subscription at $29.99 per year, which includes a 7 day free trial for eligible new subscribers, a monthly subscription at $7.99 per month, or a one time Lifetime purchase at $99.99. These are United States prices at the date of this update. Prices vary by region and currency and may change. The price that applies to you is always the price shown in the App and confirmed by the App Store before you purchase. Free trial. If you start the annual plan with a free trial, you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the annual subscription begins and your Apple Account is charged the annual price. If you have allowed notifications, Kaisei sends a reminder before the trial ends. That reminder is a courtesy and depends on your notification settings, so you remain responsible for cancelling in time. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Introductory first year offer. Kaisei may, once, offer eligible new subscribers a reduced price for the first year of the annual plan, for example $19.99 for the first year. If you accept it, the reduced price is charged on the day you accept and covers your first year. This offer does not include a free trial. After the first year the subscription renews automatically at the standard annual price then in effect, currently $29.99 per year, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The offer is shown at most once, is available only to those the App Store treats as eligible for an introductory offer, cannot be combined with the free trial, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time for those who have not yet accepted it. Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription and turn off automatic renewal in your App Store account settings, or from the Manage subscription row under KAISEI PRO in the App's Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Kaisei Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. Lifetime. The Lifetime purchase is a one time, non consumable unlock of Kaisei Pro for the Apple Account that bought it. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an active subscription for you, so if you hold one, cancel it in your App Store account settings. Restoring purchases and Family Sharing. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account used to buy them and can be restored on your other devices with Restore purchases in the App. Kaisei Pro purchases are not currently shared through Family Sharing. Refunds. Apple processes all payments, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies. Except where required by law, payments are non refundable and no refunds or credits are provided for partial periods. Price changes. If the price of a subscription you hold changes, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
6. Device and Feature Requirements
Some Kaisei features require supported Apple hardware, an Apple Watch worn overnight, current OS versions, Apple Health access, background app refresh, notifications, widget or complication support, Live Activities, Siri and Shortcuts, Apple Intelligence, or iCloud availability. Free form coach answers require a device that supports Apple Intelligence. On other devices the coach offers guided explanations of your data. Feature availability can change as Apple platforms change.
7. Overnight Refresh and Notifications
Kaisei may use background app refresh and HealthKit background delivery to compute your score before you wake, and may schedule local notifications such as the morning recovery alert, wind down cues, an evening reminder to wear your watch, the weekly letter, and trial reminders. Delivery timing depends on Apple background and notification services, device settings, Focus modes, battery state, permissions, and OS behavior. Kaisei is not responsible for missed, delayed, or suppressed background updates or notifications.
8. Privacy and On Device Processing
Kaisei processes your health data on your device and does not upload it to an Orochi Systems server. Kaisei has no account system. Derived scores and context are sent to your own paired Apple Watch. Optional iCloud backup keeps only your streak, your tag history, and your custom tag names in your own private iCloud. Your health readings and scores are never part of that backup, and the Medication tag never leaves your iPhone. Your use of Kaisei is also governed by the Kaisei Privacy Policy at https://orochisystems.com/kaisei/privacy.
9. User Content and Records
You are responsible for the tags, notes, experiments, exports, shared cards, and other information you create in Kaisei. When you share a card or an exported file, you decide where it goes, and Kaisei has no control over it after it leaves the App. Do not use the App to store unlawful content or content you are not authorized to keep. You retain ownership of the records you create.
10. Data Export, Deletion, and Backups
Kaisei provides tools under DATA & PRIVACY in Settings to export your data as a single readable file and to erase every record it has created. Delete all my data removes your history, tags, feelings, experiments, streak, and profile from your iPhone, your paired Apple Watch, and your iCloud backup. It cannot be undone. Samples in Apple Health are not removed, including any mindful minutes or Watch workouts you chose to save there. You are responsible for keeping separate backups of information you consider important and for protecting exported files after they leave the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device. Deleting the App or your data does not cancel an active subscription.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Kaisei, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent purchase or entitlement checks, abuse system integrations, or use the App for unlawful activity.
12. Third Party Platforms
Kaisei depends on Apple platforms and services including HealthKit, StoreKit, iCloud, WidgetKit, ActivityKit, App Intents, Shortcuts, Apple Intelligence, notifications, background delivery, and App Store distribution. Help and legal pages open from the App in a Safari view and are served from orochisystems.com. We are not responsible for third party outages, policy changes, or service failures.
13. Intellectual Property
Kaisei, including its software, scoring methods, design, the squared 回 identity, the appearance worlds, branding, and related materials, is owned by Orochi Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the App, or use our trademarks, without written consent.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
Kaisei is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted background refresh or sync, error free scoring, the accuracy or completeness of any score, reading, or insight, or achievement of any training, recovery, or wellness outcome.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orochi Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions you make in reliance on the App's scores, verdicts, readings, or coach answers, arising from your use of Kaisei. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
16. Termination
We may suspend or discontinue features if these Terms are violated or if service components are discontinued. You may stop using Kaisei at any time by deleting the App. Deleting the App does not by itself cancel an active subscription, which you manage through your App Store account.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
