1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Blackwall ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Nature
Blackwall is a local-first iOS AI assistant that lets you download on-device models, create chat threads, attach images, and use voice input for local prompting. Feature availability can vary by device capability, installed model, permissions, storage capacity, and operating-system support.
3. Local-First Access Model
Blackwall is designed around on-device inference and local storage. In the current implementation, the App does not require a separate Orochi Systems account and does not provide hosted conversation sync.
4. Device, Storage, and Model Requirements
Some Blackwall features require compatible iPhone hardware, a supported iOS version, sufficient local storage for model files, and enough device memory for the selected model runtime. Larger or multimodal models may be unavailable or unstable on older or lower-memory devices.
5. Model Downloads
When you choose to install a model, Blackwall downloads model files from remote hosts defined by the app's model catalog. These downloads are initiated by your device, may consume significant storage and bandwidth, and may be subject to the availability and policies of the third-party host providing the files.
6. Permissions and Feature Access
Optional features may request camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition permissions. Denying or revoking permissions may limit attachment, camera, or voice features. You are responsible for reviewing and managing these permissions in iOS Settings.
7. Your Prompts, Attachments, and Outputs
You are responsible for the text, images, and other content you submit to Blackwall, and for how you use any output generated by the App. You should not use Blackwall to store, process, or distribute content in violation of law or the rights of others.
8. AI Output Disclaimer
Blackwall generates probabilistic AI output and can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. The App is not legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for important decisions.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use Blackwall for unlawful activity, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to generate or distribute harmful content in violation of applicable law, to interfere with the App's operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
10. Third-Party Dependencies
Blackwall depends on Apple frameworks and third-party model-hosting infrastructure for certain functions, including permissions, on-device speech support, and model delivery. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, content availability, or service failures of those third parties.
11. No Guarantee of Continuous Availability
Blackwall may not be available on all devices or in all regions, and runtime behavior can be affected by storage limits, thermal throttling, operating-system changes, or unavailable model hosts. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every model will run acceptably on every supported device.
12. Intellectual Property
Blackwall, including its software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by Orochi Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party models and frameworks remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Blackwall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orochi Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Blackwall, including data loss, model-download failures, device-performance issues, or reliance on generated output.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if the App is discontinued. You may stop using Blackwall at any time by deleting local data, removing the App, and discontinuing model downloads.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Blackwall after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
