Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Azurite is a digital wellness and behavior-coaching app developed by Orochi Systems. Azurite is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. Insights are correlation-based and intended for self-awareness only.
2. Data We Process
Depending on your usage and permissions, Azurite may process session logs (duration, category, burden score, and source reliability), wellness signal samples (heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate), generated insight summaries (confidence/evidence values), intervention history, and coaching messages.
3. Permissions
Azurite may request Notifications (for local nudges/reminders), HealthKit read access (heart-related wellness signals), and Screen Time/Family Controls authorization (for device activity monitoring and optional shielding controls). You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
4. Health Data Access
HealthKit access is read-only in Azurite. We request only the signal types needed for correlation views (heart rate, heart rate variability, and resting heart rate). Azurite does not write data to Apple Health in the current implementation.
5. Screen Time and Device Activity Data
When Screen Time/Family Controls authorization is granted and supported on your device, Azurite can monitor aggregate device-activity thresholds to improve usage-session quality. If these frameworks are unavailable, Azurite falls back to reduced or inferred session paths.
6. Local Storage and Security
Azurite stores core app data on-device (settings, sessions, samples, insights, interventions, and coaching history). The app applies platform protections such as iOS file protection and keychain-backed storage for sensitive credentials and sync session tokens.
7. Coaching Behavior
The active production coaching path uses deterministic on-device responses. A remote provider implementation exists only for development/debug workflows; the production client flow does not send coaching prompts to external model APIs.
8. Optional Cloud Sync
If cloud sync is configured and you authenticate an in-app Supabase session (including Sign in with Apple flow where available), Azurite can transmit selected records over encrypted HTTPS for account continuity. In the current client pipeline, sync uploads usage sessions and insight records tied to your authenticated user ID.
9. Export and Deletion Controls
You can export local data summaries (such as CSV and PDF exports) from Settings. If sync is enabled and authenticated, you can request cloud-data purge from within the app. You can also clear local app data by uninstalling Azurite.
10. Purchases and Subscription Infrastructure
Subscription billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Azurite also uses RevenueCat for entitlement validation and product/offering resolution where configured.
11. Widgets and Live Activities
Azurite can surface confidence snapshots through widgets and Live Activities using Apple platform frameworks and shared app-group storage.
12. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
Azurite may rely on Apple platform services, RevenueCat (subscription entitlement handling), and Supabase (optional cloud sync). We do not sell personal data and we do not share data with advertising data brokers.
13. Analytics and Tracking
Azurite is not designed for cross-app tracking and does not include advertising SDKs. The current default production configuration does not rely on third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
14. Children's Privacy
Azurite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
15. International Users
If you use Azurite outside your home jurisdiction, local privacy laws may apply. Service providers used for app operation may process operational data in accordance with their own regional infrastructure and legal obligations.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
